Looking for a free ping pong tournament app that runs the bracket for you? Rankat lets you spin up a single elimination or round robin tournament in minutes, for 1v1 singles or team-vs-team of any size, and keeps the standings updated automatically as matches are recorded.
This is a quick walkthrough on how to get started: create the tournament, invite players and set up teams, browse the bracket or round robin standings, and record matches as you play.
From the home screen, tap Create tournament, give it a name, and pick the format. You choose 1v1 or team-vs-team, and either single elimination (a classic knockout bracket, one loss and you're out) or round robin (everyone plays everyone, points decide the final standings).
Every group has a unique join code. Share it in Slack, text it to your friends, or write it on the breakroom whiteboard, and anyone with the code joins the tournament in seconds.
For team-vs-team tournaments you assign players into their teams before the bracket is generated.
A classic knockout bracket. Winners advance, one loss eliminates. Fast to run, great for after-work tournaments where you want a champion before everyone heads home.
Everyone plays everyone. A live standings table tracks wins, points and placement, and Rankat handles shared placements when players are tied. Best when you want everyone to get the same amount of games in.
Tap a match in the bracket or schedule and log the result. The bracket advances the winner automatically, the round robin standings recalculate on the spot.
